ARCTIC MONKEYS CONFIRM FIRST SHOW IN THREE YEARS

Arctic Monkeys have announced the first show in more than three years, with the band confirmed to headline at the Firefly Festival in Dover, Delaware during the weekend of June 14th through the 17th. The last time the band performed live was in the fall of 2014 at the end of the tour cycle for the British act's 2013 album AM.

Also performing at the Firefly event will be the Killers, Kendrick Lamar, Eminem, Portugal. The Man, Foster The People, Alt-J, Royal Blood, Cold War Kids, Jimmy Eat World and tons more.

  • Arctic Monkeys have been quietly working on their long-awaited sixth studio LP and intend to release it this year.
  • Bassist Nick O'Malley confirmed last fall that the band began recording its new LP in September at a secret location. He insisted that it was coming out in 2018, adding, "If it isn’t, we’ve got problems."
  • AM, Arctic Monkeys' fifth album, was their biggest hit yet in the U.S. and featured the chart-topping "Do I Wanna Know?" and the follow-up hit "R U Mine?"
