110,000 CONDOMS FOR ATHLETES IN SOUTH KOREAN WINTER OLYMPICS

Every two years when another Olympics rolls around, stories come out about how many condoms will be made available for athletes, and with the Winter Olympics in South Korea getting underway next week, it's that time again. Olympic organizers told AFP that there will be 110,000 condoms provided for the athletes, which works out to more than 37 condoms for each of the 2,925 athletes participating. That's a lot of action, even in light of U.S. Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte once saying that about three-quarters of Olympians at the Games were having sex. The number of condoms has increased by a lot over the years; back in 1988, when the Olympics were also in South Korea, in Seoul, only 8,500 condoms were provided.
