If you live in the U.K. and have just forgiven your local KFC for running out of chicken last week, you may be sad to find your favorite KFC location might now be out of gravy. Though 95 percent of the chain’s restaurants are back up and running following the chicken shortage, some of them are serving a limited menu that fails to include gravy.
Customers are miffed, and are airing their frustrations on Twitter. A spokesperson for KFC told the Sun Online, “97 percent of our restaurants are now open, however, due to the ongoing distribution challenges DHL is experiencing, some restaurants are continuing to serve a reduced menu, including gravy. We are working as hard as we can to get this sorted out, we know that our gravy is a big favorite.”
