Those of you on a high-protein diet may have noticed one awful side effect: blowing some serious ass, as a result. This stuff takes a b-line right for your large intestine where the microbes do their dirty work…including after-effects that smell similar to rotten eggs.
There IS a solution: if you cut back eating less than 1 gram of protein per day for every two-pounds you’ve got on you, that should help. Plus, throwing in a baked potato with the skin, brown rice, or quinoa will give those bacteria something else less offensive to chew on.
