The Results are in, The “Best Beers In The World” For 2018

The 2018 World Beer Cup’s now history, and the greatest brews the world has to offer have been consumed, argued over – and decided. In total, it took 295 judges to mull over 8,234 different beers and somehow stay sober enough to decide as to which would reign supreme.

There were 302 winners in-all, and the United States proudly stomped 32 other countries by taking 242 of the prizes. Here some a few of the stand-outs from given categories:

  • Best American Style Amber Lager – Brooklyn Lager/Brooklyn Brewing
  • Best American Style Imperial Stout – Cultivating Mass/Cooperage Brewing
  • Best American Style IPA – Revision IPA/Revision Brewing
  • Best American Style Lager/Cream Ale – Old Style Lager/Pabst
  • Best American Style Pale Ale – C-Hops/Firestone Walker Brewing
  • Best American Style Stout – Black Cliffs/Boise Brewing
  • Best American Style Wheat – Dark O’ The Moon/Tilted Axis Brewing
  • Best Baltic Style Porter – Bangor Slate/Two Rivers Brewing
  • Best Belgian Style Sour Ale – Oude Geuze Boon Vat 108/Brouwerij Boon
  • Best Belgian Style Tripel – Tripel LeFort/Omer Vander Ghinste
  • Best Belgian Style Witbier – Camden Gentleman’s Wit/Camden Town Brewery
  • Best Bohemian Style Pilsner – Chuckanut/Chuckanut Brewery
  • Best Classic Style English Pale Ale – Valley Isle ESB/Maui Brewing
  • Best French/English Style Saison – La Finca Miami/The Tank Brewing
