Pizza Hut has a new plan to win in the pizza delivery game against Papa Johnโs and Dominoโs: alcohol. Yep, starting this month, Pizza Hut is trying out a beer delivery program to 100 locations in California and Arizona.
Soon customers there can order a pie, along with big name brews like: Budweiser, Blue Moon, Coors Light, Shock Top, and Miller High Life. Word is two beers will go for between $3 and $4.50 and six packs from $5.99 to $10.99. And some lucky drinkers in parts of Arizona will even get free delivery on some of the six packs.
โNothing complements an oven-hot pizza like a nice cold beer,โ Pizza Hut CMO Zipporah Allen says in a company statement. โExpanding the pilot program is a natural way for Pizza Hut to get our customers the perfect pizza and beer combo theyโre craving, delivered right to their doors.โ
