Waiting for the Next Game of Thrones Season?

Fans of “Game Of Thrones” have been a patient bunch – and now it appears they might have to be a bit more…uh…patient-ER. Speculation was that the final season of the series would begin airing on HBO sometime during April. But when visual effects supervisor Joe Bauer did an interview where he talked about Emmy eligibility…it came up that to be eligible for an award for a given year, the majority of a series’ episodes must air prior to May 31st. Producers have already said they’d be working until May to get the series ready for air. That means it’s likely that you’re looking at a late May/early June air date at the earliest – unless, of course, they’re just messing with us to keep us guessing.
