A $1-Billion A-I College Is Coming To MIT

The next step towards making all the worst parts of “The Terminator” a real thing is happening at MIT. Specifically, that A-I (or Artificial Intelligence) is going to be a major part of the future. As in, they’re planning a $1-billion dollar “artificial intelligence college” they’ve even confirmed that two-thirds of that money is already in hand (courtesy of the CEO of the Blackstone Group). Yup $350-million is was get a school named after you – and officials say that even though the M.I.T. Steven A Schwartzman College Of Computing won’t be completed until 2022, the first semester’s expected to start a year from now.
