What words would you like to not see used this year? Lake Superior State University released its 44th annual List of Words Banished from the Queen's English for Mis-use, Over-use and General Uselessness. The words were chosen from a pool of submissions from a public fed up words such as "banished," "thought leader," "POTUS," and "yeet." Other words or phrases people want to see banned included: "wrap my head around," "platform," "collusion," "ghosting," "litigate," "eschew," "crusty," "legally drunk, "importantly," "accounterments," and "most important election of our time."
