The Top Seven Porn Searches That Surged in Popularity Last Year

Pornhub released its annual year-in-review of all the filthy stuff people searched for last year.  And the term that saw the biggest jump was "porn for women."  14 times as many people searched for it last year compared to 2016.

It's not clear if more women are watching porn, or if they're just sick of the stuff made for men.  But here are the seven searches that surged the most in popularity last year.

1.  "Porn for women."

2.  "Rick and Morty."  There was a HUGE surge in porn parodies of the TV show.

3.  "Fidget spinner."

4.  "1080p" . . . as in HD resolution.

5.  "ASMR", or "Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response" porn.  A.k.a, whisper porn.

6.  "Hentai" . . . which is Japanese anime porn.

7.  "Cheerleader."  So one CLASSIC porn search made the list.  The top searches overall in the U.S. were . .  "lesbian," "milf," and "stepsister."

One other side-note:  The state where porn-watching sessions lasted the LONGEST was Mississippi at an average of 11 minutes and 33 seconds.  Followed by Alabama, South Carolina, Louisiana, and Arkansas.  So the top five are all in the South.

The QUICKEST state was Kansas at 9 minutes and 5 seconds.  Followed by Idaho, Oregon, Utah, and Colorado.
