Here’s another list that’s sole purpose would be to get people all riled-up and rowdy. This one comes from the online gaming site, Casumo.com. They did their own poll in an attempt to determine once and for all who the greatest comic book movie villain of all-time is. Here’s what they came up with:

  • Heath Ledger – “The Joker”/”The Dark Knight”
  • Danny DeVito – “The Penguin/”Batman Returns”
  • Gene Hackman – “Lex Luthor”/”Superman 1 & 2”
  • Tom Hiddleston – “Loki”/”Thor” and “Avengers”
  • Ian McKellen – “Magneto”/”X-Men”
  • Tom Hardy – “Bane”/”Dark Knight Rises”
  • Arnold Schwarzenegger – “Mr. Freeze”/”Batman & Robin”
  • Margot Robbie – “Harley Quinn”/”Suicide Squad”
  • Terrence Stamp – “General Zod”/”Superman”

Annoyed? You’re not alone. And here are some more revelations they found:

  • One-third said a great villain had to have some sympathy so you almost root for them.
  • All it takes to be a great villain is an awesome evil laugh according to 25%.
  • 75% said that they want their comic book movie villains to be more interesting than the hero.
  • 40% say that there’s just too many damn superhero movies these days.
