Jim Humble, who is a onetime gold prospector from Nevada, has used YouTube as a platform to help promote his Miracle Mineral Solution, or MMS, which he said: โkills most of the disease of mankind.โ
In fact, it's been proven to be nothing more than chlorine bleach, which can cause vomiting and dehydration when consumed in high quantities. In 2010, the FDA said it had received multiple reports of people suffering โlife-threatening low blood pressureโ from dehydration after taking MMS. So far, two people have died, four suffered life-threatening conditions and one patient was classified as โdisabledโ after consuming theย solution.ย
YouTube was made aware of theย videos, most were removed as were the channels hosting them and the site said it had altered its search algorithms to avoid MMS content. YouTube says that it does not proactively seek out content that violates its policies, but acts when content is flagged.
ONE MORE THING!:YouTube alsoย recently removed all videos related to an individual, who's channel promoted drinking turpentine,ย believing it to be a panacea. He has now also been banned from the platform.ย
