YouTube Cracking Down On Bleach Drinking Miracle Cure

Jim Humble, who is a onetime gold prospector from Nevada, has used YouTube as a platform to help promote his Miracle Mineral Solution, or MMS, which he said: “kills most of the disease of mankind.”

In fact, it's been proven to be nothing more than chlorine bleach, which can cause vomiting and dehydration when consumed in high quantities. In 2010, the FDA said it had received multiple reports of people suffering “life-threatening low blood pressure” from dehydration after taking MMS. So far, two people have died, four suffered life-threatening conditions and one patient was classified as “disabled” after consuming the solution.

YouTube was made aware of the videos, most were removed as were the channels hosting them and the site said it had altered its search algorithms to avoid MMS content. YouTube says that it does not proactively seek out content that violates its policies, but acts when content is flagged.

ONE MORE THING!:YouTube also recently removed all videos related to an individual, who's channel promoted drinking turpentine, believing it to be a panacea. He has now also been banned from the platform.
