Flying Drones While Drunk Banned In Japan

Drinking and droning don’t mix – and you can pay the price for it in Japan. As of now, if you’re caught flying a drone while drinking you can be arrested and even land in prison for a year. According the transport ministry, flying drones while drunk can be as bad as drunk driving. The law applies to any drone weighing seven ounces or more, and also covers those who do “stunts” with their drones. So, don’t be diving yours toward a crowd and whipping it back up. They’ll nail you for that, too.
