Snickers Will Give Away 1-Million Candy Bars If Halloween Date Changes

In case you missed it, there’s a movement afoot to change the date of Halloween. As we speak, there’s a change.org petition demanding the haunted holiday be moved from October 31st, to the last Saturday of October. It’s collected more than 116-thousand signatures so far. And while the world debates it, one company that’s all about it: Snicker’s candy bars. They say that if the change happens officially, they’ll “offer up 1-million free Snickers to America. No tricks, only treats.” This isn’t the first time a petition for this bold concept has been floated. If it works, then let’s work on making the Monday after the Super Bowl a holiday, too.
