Beware Of Rolling Mountain Poop Balls

There are a lot of dangers that come into play when hiking, but you likely don't think of poop. The National Park Service recently posted on Facebook that rolling balls of "crap" are being pushed around by a type of dung beetle in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The post has been viewed over 21,000 times since it was posted Friday (August 23rd.) It goes on to explain that dung beetles rely on animal excrement to reproduce.
