USDA Listed Wakanda As A Trading Partner On Its Website

The U.S. doesn't have a free trade agreement with the Kingdom of Wakanda, despite what the U.S. Department of Agriculture says.

The fictional African nation, home to Marvel superhero Black Panther, was included in an online USDA tariff tracker. The listing was removed this week after a software engineer called it out on Twitter. Whoopsie!

He even managing to download a spreadsheet of commodities traded with Wakanda, including live animals and tobacco. Sadly, there was no agreement for vibranium, the fictional cosmic metal that is the source of Wakanda's wealth and power.

A USDA spokesman said the fake country was included by as part of a test and they forgot to take the country off afterwards.
