Texas flags to be lowered at half-staff to honor Kabul explosion victims

AUSTIN, Texas — Texas Governor Greg Abbott ordered Texas flags across the state to be lowered to half-staff to honor the U.S. service members who lost their lives during an attack at the airport yesterday in Kabul, Afghanistan.

The Governor's office says that flags should remain at half-staff through sunset this Monday.

On Thursday, US flags flown at the White House and federal buildings were lowered to half-staff to honor the victims who died in Kabul.
