Slipknot has joined Spotify's Billions Club with their hit song "Duality" surpassing one billion streams on the platform. The track was released in May 2004 as the first single from their album "Vol. 3 (The Subliminal Verses)" and remains one of their most iconic and commercially successful songs. Notably, vocalist Corey Taylor deliberately avoided using profanity in the lyrics, wanting to try something different. The video for the song is as famous as the song itself, shot in a house in West Des Moines, Iowa that was scheduled for renovation. It features the band performing while hundreds of fans destroy the house, with Roadrunner Records paying around $50,000 in damages. The video was later named Roadrunner's greatest video of all time.
