The director of the Butterball Turkey Talkline is dishing on turkey cooking tips. Nicole Johnson talked about how stressful hosting the holiday can be and that’s why she is sharing the “three T’s.” Top of the list for Johnson is making sure you know how long to thaw your turkey for since it takes days. She adds you need a meat thermometer since it’s the only way to verify it is cooked. The two hour rule is also a hack for Johnson. You take the turkey out of the oven, carve it and put it in the fridge so it can cool…all within two hours or less. If you have questions about cooking your turkey, call the Butterball Turkey Talkline at 1-800-Butterball.
