GI Friday aired from 1996 to 2000 and on November 14th, 1997 they had Metallica and guest vocalist Marianne Faithfull on to perform "The Memory Remains." The producers of the show say the clip was found in a "newly rediscovered archive of classic British TV."

Metallica only did the song live with Faithfull two other times -- on Saturday Night Live on December 6th, 1997 and at one of their 30th anniversary concerts on December 7th, 2011 in San Francisco.
